This is looking great--The only thing I see that I would change myself is the tires. Everything seems very edgy except the tires seem like inflated tubes. You should but some tracks on it. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing more progress.
I like the bolts that you put on it! I think that is something you put on the high ploy model though. This looks like a high ploy model. Is this your low or high ploy? You should post up your wire frame
Looks good however if u add more detail to the mesh it will help to take it out of its cartoon look. Since you are a movie student you dont really have to worry about the poly count to.
This looks pretty good so far, but it still needs more textural detail e.g. normal mapping of the panel textures etc.
