Next up is taking some roughness out via Zbrush

Project 2: Character UV Layout


Applied a mesh smoothing to get some more geometry before I unwrapped him. I'm only partway done with unwrapping him since my original file got corrupted and I had to start over. It's pretty clear which areas are done and which aren't.


Here are my images, smoothed the bike and then unwrapped the uvs.

These are the UV's of my model from the last two weeks. However as of this weekend I started redoing the Base mesh( This weekends workshop helped quite a lot) and for next weeks Zbrush assignment, I will be operating of a newer more accurate Base Mesh that I am currently working to finish up.

Car Concept

I have fleshed out my car concept. I will have a better picture for the shoebox for modeling later. I will add pieces of destruction later after the piece is modeled out. Since my picture is not the best to scale concept, I will be only modeling one side, so that the other side will match.

Anthony Guilkey Bike mesh



Here are my bulky base mesh pics will get smoother i promise. will add more, pics and blogger acting weird. Went with regular back wheel instead of tracks.

This week, I started his base mesh. I am having trouble with his face (like all characters I do) but it is slowly coming out fine. I still need to add feet, hands and details to his arms and legs.




Yes, I do know that there are unfinished loops. That will be fixed soon.

Vehicle concept

Looking towards a model that is an actual car. A 1970s Lancia Beta. It will be minorly altered, but also a generic "used" vehicle that was cast aside during its day. (engine used to fall out of them cause of tramatic rust issues)

This is my concept on my version on a street bike gone military. Sorry for the quality i drew it on paper. Gonna try to go this route but more blocky. Should of done the trace editing. First pick is not what it is based on, just found it and i am going to use it to make a better one.

Afflicted Character Concept-Pig gang member

So the pigs are supposed to be white collar people who have had to turn to this militaristic gang warfare style of life. They continue to wear their nice clothes, but at the same time they are torn and fading. I kind of tried to tie in a casual clothes style as opposed to going full suit route.

Bird Guy

Here is my concept art for my character I would like to create. The background of the first piece is not finished.


I was thinking about have a bird humanoid but with more human then bird.
